Had this in Nick U's backyard the night before the Stapleton and Heartbreakers show at Summerfest. Was surprised to see it as a blonde ale, but hey, it was dark when I drank it.
Pours a dark burnt orange/amber kind of color, thinner 1/3" off white head. So for a blonde ale, this appears to have a good amount of barrel influence on the color. Really cool aroma here, lots of citrus and tequila, really dug it, there's been a few tequila barrel beers, and a few blood orange beers, but this is the first with both I've had, and it doesn't get high marks for just being unique, it has to be good too.
Yeah bouy, the taste and mouth feel aren't hot at all. Tequila scares me sometimes. But not here. The blood orange really tempers the alcohol to make this shockingly crushable at 10%. Its light body really did a great job absorbing wood, tequila/agave and orange. I had never even heard of this beer before.
The reviews here aren't fond of the beer, and perhaps I was just enjoying being back amongst friends in Milwaukee that really elevated my impression of this beer, but dang man, I want more. The ratings must like it more than the other reviews with a 3.94 average.

On tap at CW. Pours a medium darker reddish-orange body, one finger white head, short retention, no lacing. Smells of orange peel and a touch of tequila. I'm not a tequila fan, but there is plenty of it here for those of you who enjoy it. Flavour is an odd mix of orange peel, mineral and grain, and tequila. I don't think these components mesh together very well, to be honest. Mouthfeel is lighter medium bodied, fair carbonation, a light dry tequila flavour on the finish. I'm not a huge fan of tequila and really wanted to enjoy this, but I guess that didn't really work out here.
