Thick-looking, translucent orange appearance. Lasting yellow head. Floral, perfumy aroma. Sweet and warming. Interestingly rustic brew. I'm glad to have tried it once.

Extremely Unsettled pours a darker, hazy orangish color, with a small, lacing head. Aroma a hints or earth, a bright floral, and oily hop notes, a hint of orange. Good body and feel. Overall, a big bold hazy IPA, with some nice citrus flavors.

A superb and distinctly English IPA. The brew has a hazy yellow hue and moderate carbonation. A small thin white head.
S: An aromas of the English yeast as well as grapefruit, pear and other citrus notes.
T: The taste has lots of flavors of orange, apricot and grapefruit but balanced with earthy flavors and a clean finish.
M: It a hearty mouth feel with a complex body for an interesting experience.
O: The complex IPA flavors accompanied with the English yeast produces a pleasant, enjoyable character.

Tasted in a Spiegelau IPA glass from a one pint can on December 9, 2019. Double New England style IPA brewed with Mosaic, Citra and Mandarina Bavaria hops. Nice body and feel.

Notes via stream of consciousness: This is a "Double New England Style IPA"; I can't recall if I've ever had one. It features Mosaic, Citra, and Mandarina Bavaria hops which sounds good. How strong is it? Hmmm, the label doesn't say. OK, it's poured a cloudy orange body beneath an inch and a half of rocky off-white foam. The aroma is really nice with notes of orange, mango, roses, soft red berries, nectarine, and dried pine needles. On to the flavor... there's a lot more malt than I thought there would be based on the aroma but that's just because I wasn't smelling it and forgot that it's a double NEIPA. The malt is grainy, cereal-like, and sweetish. The fruitiness of the hops is limited compared to the aroma, and mainly displays peach, floral character, and orange marmalade. There are other lesser notes (mango, etc.) if you want to seek them out. There's a bit of spiciness, especially in the finish, and I wonder if at least some of that, or even all of that, is from alcohol. Their website currently lists it at 8.3% alcohol by volume but that's not really THAT strong, and it never stands out beyond a clear presence so who knows? It's firmly bitter, and it finishes mainly dry with that spiciness, a touch of fruit, and some pine lingering. In the mouth it's medium bodied but seemingly fuller due to all of the extra proteins. That leaves it gently bristling at first but then creamy and smoother. Looking back, the head held up really well and there's plenty of lacing left about the glass. I liked this beer quite a bit. Putting the "double" spin on the NEIPA style worked really well and I wonder if we'll be seeing more of these in the future. Nicely done.

A: The beer is very hazy dark yellow in color. It poured with a finger high frothy white white head that has very good retention properties and consistently left a quarter finger high head covering the surface and lots of lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Moderate to strong aromas of citrusy and tropical fruit hops are present in the nose - tangerine and mango seem to stand out in particular.
T: The taste has lots of flavors of gooseberry, mango and stone fruit with some hints of pine towards the finish.
M: It feels medium-bodied and very juicy on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: I really liked the juiciness of this New England IPA and how well it hid any traces of alcohol from the taste.
