real neat beer, im a saison nerd, so had to order a can at the brewery even though their draft list was absurdly awesome. this is great, packed with new zealand hops, riwaka and nelson, totally pops, so light, and the yeast is flavorful for being clean, not overly estery, too refined overall to be rustic, but not just french or belgian either, i like the complexion, complimentary fruitiness from it, the lightest funk but not bretty, and i think it plays with the hops super well overall, this is light and drinkable and expressive and summery and fun, a great can of beer and id love to know more about the yeast, its different enough to make this awesome. straw colored brew with a high airy white head, tiny bubbles, looks great and the scent seems to fill the room, fresh ripe melon, kiwi, tangerine, and meyer lemon, some blooming floral intensity too, and some white wine character from the yeast, light peppery spice, and clean dry wheat underneath, lovely proportions, hop driven but not entirely, and not bitter when i taste it at all, all dry hops in this, or darn near it. the flavor is as vibrant as the aroma, the nelson is out in front, lemon and lime, honeydew, sauvignon blanc. carbonation is wonderful here too, this really sings, and its so dry and fast finishing as to be refreshing, unique for a beer this flavorful i reckon. i could see this killing it in a white wine barrel with brett, but its a real nice drinker as it is now too, this yeast is subtly champion in here, the hops are well selected and dosed, and the overall quality is once again through the roof from central waters!
