7/19/24 - $6 5 oz draft pour at Central Waters Milwaukee. 14.9% ABV, Imperial Stout.
Appearance: Poured into a large Teku, dark black plum base, thin fine white tan bubbles cling for life around the top rim. 3.75
Aroma: Strong plum notes, bourbon emerges as it warms, gains strength and bourbon. Nice 4.25
Taste: Let this warm, this is excellent. Lots of 25th anniversaries vibes. Comes in hot at proper temperature, and then mellows but maybe it’s just me. Chocolate hot fudge, rich and wonderful. Bourbon well blended, really digging this. 4.5
Mouthfeel: Medium body , drinks hot at first but at proper temps at ABV. Nice balance between bourbon and sweet fudge flavors, finish wonderful bourbon fudge. 4.5
Overall: This is an excellent offering, really on par with the 25 I had last year. So glad we stopped in today, bringing back a few bottles to share. 4.5
