On draught at the brewery. Pours a darker gold color with decent clarity. The substantial head has low retention and lacing is a bit random and somewhat slippery. The toasted malt and graininess has a subtle caramel flavor infused with a pleasant bitterness, IBU is 24.
The subtle leathery notes and smoothness are very enjoyable, as is the mouthfeel and carbonation.
A 2024 Gold medal winner at the Maryland Beer Festival.
