Pleasant enough but there is no Kolsch in this beer.

473 ml can served cool into a tasting glass. LCBO purchase for $3.50 CDN.
Appearance - Pours a mostly clear beet red colored brew with two plus fingers of long lived pinkish white head and tons of lacing.
Smell - Lots of fruit, elderberry and raspberry most prominent, with some leafy hops and a pinch of citrus in behind. A slightly medicinal tea like quality to the aroma as well.
Taste - Initial dose of blueberry and elderberry of font, leafy hops in behind, slightly bitter and the flavor is a touch thin.
Mouthfeel - Medium light bodied, light carbonation and bitterness stays with you in the aftertaste. Watery.
Overall - A decent fruit beer that is worth a try, however didn't make such an impact that I'm likely to pick up another.

473 mL can from the LCBO; freshest by Jul 19 2020 and served barely chilled. Seems as if their Moonlight Kettle series is in the midst of a label art makeover.
Pours clear and effervescent, featuring an attractive, deep reddish-purple coloured body; it's crowned with one finger of foamy, lightly pink-tinged head that proves surprisingly resilient. It hangs in there for at least ten minutes, gradually being reduced to a lumpy cap and frothy collar. It's a fine-looking fruit beer. The nose is subtle, with hints of blueberry and elderflower being the main elements of note; beyond that, I'm getting hints of grainy pale malts, nectar and suggestions of grape.
It's a palatable offering - while the fruits do provide much of the flavour, they do so in a restrained manner, ensuring that this feels like a fruited ale vs. an overly sweetened malt beverage. Hints of blackcurrant and elderflower are present at the forefront, with grainy pale malts, blueberry skin and juice coming through by mid-sip, persisting through the finish and into the aftertaste. Light-medium in body, with moderate carbonation levels that froth up in the mouth, resulting in a smooth, soft and somewhat pillowy mouthfeel. I almost never drink more than one fruit beer on any given night, but I think I could toss back a few of these in a row, if necessary.
Final Grade: 3.77, a B+. Muskoka's Late Bloomer is a respectable fruit beer, though 'kölsch' is a bit of a misnomer IMO - once you've added berries to such a light, nuanced style of beer, you might as well just call it a fruit beer and be done with it. I mean, is anyone going to look at this glass of purplish, pink-headed beer and think anything other than "this must be a fruit beer"? I doubt it. Rants aside, this is a decently-constructed blueberry beer that I liked well enough - give it a try if it sounds interesting, but I wouldn't go out of my way for more.

Pours dark pink due to the blueberry and elderflower. The label says this is a kolsch but the fruit flavours and appearance make this a fruit and field beer. The smell is sweet, springlike but the taste is a little harsh and metallic. Nice smell not so nice taste. I don’t detect any of the base-beer kolsch. I bought two. That will be it
