Patio beer soda stuff. Not real beery, not real soda-ish. Beer limbo. Drinkable, but not memorable. The fruitiness is not overwhelming, but not artificial in character. Fool your non-beer drinking friends into thinking they're exotic beer drinkers with this. Not offensive, but not something to seek out.

473 ml can served cold into a chalice. LCBO purchase for $3.25 CDN or so. Freshest by June 5, 2021. Appropriate to be enjoying this on the Spring Forward Day.
Appearance - Super pale, peach color brew with plenty of hazy and a solid two fingers of foam that dissipates with an audible hiss.
Smell - Possibly grapefruit but smells more like orange San Pelligrino than anything else. Some wheat notes in the background. Something a little weird and funky in the nose, kind of like latex gloves.
Taste - Light and fruity, fairly sweet and lacking the bitterness of grapefruit. Alcoholic citrus grapefruit pop in essence. Probably a good radler substitute, I can se this being refreshing on a hot summer's day. Flavors are lacking otherwise.
Mouthfeel - Very light bodied, very fizzy, and refreshing the way a citrus pop would be.
Overall - Good for what it is, a light alternative meant to be enjoyed on a hot summer's day. As a fruit beer, it falls short as there is limited flavor and the bitterness (even just a little bit) simply isn't there. Would recommend to those who frequent radlers, otherwise this is a pass for me.

473 mL can from the LCBO; best before Jun 5 2021 and served slightly chilled.
Pours a foggy pale peach colour, producing half a finger of bubbly white foam that fizzles off within sixty seconds. The surface is left rather barren, with only a thin collar of suds to speak of - no cap, or even a speck of lace. Looks like citrus juice, which is on theme I guess. It smells of grapefruit and orange juices, but not much else - maybe a hint of graininess underneath that citrus, and suggestions of grape juice sweetness.
The flavour profile doesn't really deviate much from what I've already said - pink grapefruit pulp, subtly grainy pale malts, and just a hint of orange juice sweetness. I'm getting a hint of lemon pithiness at the finish before a watery finish that reminds me of diluted grapefruit soda - a little bitter, a little tart, a little juicy, but none of those traits are especially emphatic. Light in body, with moderately assertive carbonation that prickles the palate continuously, helping to liven up its smooth mouthfeel; crisp and refreshing from start to finish.
Final Grade: 3.62, a B grade. Beer for breakfast? I've only reviewed a handful of brews that would be suitable, and Muskoka's Squeeze the Day is one of them. Grading this purely as a fruit beer, it does have a bit of a 'diluted' feel - i.e. it could stand to be juicier, but at only 3.5% it's unfair to criticize it too strongly on that basis. I mean, it's supposed to be light and thirst quenching, and it does that job just fine. Keeping in mind that I have soft spot for grapefruit flavoured anything, I enjoyed this light sparkling ale for what it was - a straightforward, citrusy guzzler - and if that sounds at all appealing to you then I'd encourage you to give this one a try before it disappears.
