Collaboration with Stable 12 Brewing.

Spelt Fire is a crisp, lager brewed with heritage spelt grain for a subtle, rustic twist. Pale golden in color, this easy-drinking lager delivers light malt sweetness, soft floral hops, and a touch of earthy grain character.

From an undated 16oz can into a weizen glass.

Pours a slightly hazy, very pale yellow with almost one finger of whiter head that dissipates pretty quickly leaving just a little bit of lacing.

Nose is giving some floral and peppery notes. Bready and maybe a hint of honey.

Spicy/peppery bitter hops up front with a bready/crackery malt tail end.

Thinner bodied, medium to high carbonation. Bitter aftertaste.

Pretty decent, lighter-bodied beer.
