Poured from 16oz can into a dimpled mug. Canned 4/15/24.
Appearance: pale straw hue with a dash of haze and a finger of fizzy white head that dissipates pretty quickly.
Smell: nice malty aroma with a moderate sweetness and a light, grassy hop aroma. It actually smells super clean and flavorful ... I dig it!
Taste: malt's a little bit sweeter than the aroma; I don't know if this is brewed with adjunct grains like corn, but I do feel like there's a little something creeping in at the edges of the flavor here. That being said, it's still a damn solid lager.
Mouthfeel: light body with a decent carbonation and not a ton in the way of creaminess, though there's a nice fizz.
Overall: a highly drinkable beer; maybe not the richest flavor out there, but for 4.5% it's pretty tasty and it's certainly a refreshing quaff. Capital!

clean and well made mexican lager here, these guys are off to a great start, i loved the space and liked most of the beers pretty well. this is golden and simple, probably corn based although i dont know that for sure, very well lagered, crisp and drinkable without being bland or generic, which is not the easiest in this style, i dug it! clear and with a short lived white head from the tap, good carbonation the whole way through. aroma is noble hoppy, maybe slightly more than most of these, certainly at the macro level, clean pils type malt, a touch of sweetness, bright and fresh, not a whole ton to it, which is fine for the style. the flavor is similarly bright and easy, very new in a good way despite what is obviously patient lagering, the yeast is subtle but the overall ferment and texture are excellent. definitely some hops to this, but not out of place even in a classically not that hoppy style, lightly spicy with a subtle citrus thing before the swallow, lightly bitter, right on, adds to the freshness and sort of fills in for the yeast not being as fruity as it cans sometimes be in these. easy drinking beer very well made, these guys are off to an awesome start, a great addition to the local scene!
