not bad, but not as clean as their best beers, a little weird grainy thing to it in the middle, it doesnt warm up real well, and there is a light almost cheapness about it, unexpected but not way off, and light and drinkable enough, especially when cold, to hit as brisk and refreshing even with its minor imperfections, a crowd pleaser i suppose, and nice to have options in this space with how dang hot its been here, but their pils will be my pick when im craving a light and easy lager, much higher degree of refinement and overall execution with that one. impossibly light in color, holds its inch of white wispy foam decently well, less than yellow even, close to clear, small bubbles rising up, looks peppy in the big mug it comes in. subtle sweetness up front, not adjuncty per se, perhaps im thinking too critically about a beer just made for drinking, it smells fresh, maybe faintly german somewhere, silver corn, kix cereal, trace grassy hops, and all of that is there in the flavor, where its sweeter earlier than it is late. i think in this style i expect neutral lager yeast, and this is off from that, could be my hang up with it, not a bad characteristic in here in terms of flavor, but it seems out of place, subtle as it is. really mild tasting beer overall, very minimal hops on the back end but not zero. more malt flavor than a lot of these have without taking away from its lightness, white breadiness. better than im making it sound i guess, but i am used to being impressed with the details of all their beers and this is below that level for me. they are already packaging it, which seems like a layup for sales, but its not among their best for my money...

Draft at brewery. Pale yellow pour, minimal head. Clean, grainy, biscuity aroma. Taste follows with a nice simple, bready flavor, refreshing, light, and tassty AF.
