Great Bines Think Alike from ISM Brewing. Received from @2beerdogs in a LIF. Reviewed 19/08/25 (Review 3565). Note that I use DD/MM/YY protocol.
Bottom of can stamped “PKG 06/11/25.” Stored at home at 40 degrees F. Served at 45.5 degrees F in a hand washed and dried Jester King snifter. The final temperature is 55.0 degrees F.
Appearance – 4.
First pour – Pale Straw (SRM 2), hazy.
Body – Straw (SRM 3), opaque. Under direct light, same. When rear-lite, glows straw, but no light passes directly through.
Head – Average (Maximum 2.5 cm, aggressive center pour). White, low to medium density, average retention, leaving a 0.1 – 0.3 cm crown and a thin partial cap.
Lacing – None.
Aroma – 3.5 – Curious mixture of spicy and vegetal. No malt, no alcohol.
Flavor – 4 – Begins bitter with slight citrus endocarp spiciness. No alcohol (6.6 % ABV, according to the label). No dimethylsulfide or diacetyl. Slight gastric warming.
Palate – 3 – Medium: Watery: Soft but lively carbonation.
Style: Generally, follows the style guidelines as condensed by BA.
Final impression and summation: 3.75 Uncredited label artist. Very odd WCIPA – I’m unable to assign specific tastes to specific fruits but still enjoy the mixture. If this were available locally, I’d buy more just to attempt to puzzle it out.

16 oz can stamped 06/11/2025
Pours a bright, almost clear, straw to gold. rose white head rises a bit but quickly falls off. Low retention leaves only slight lacing.
Nose pops with a very green/vegetal blend of resin first, followed by some guava, papaya, and hints of apricot and berry. The ever-present green hints at grass or alfalfa.
Flavor follows the nose with the dominance of the green notes but still allow for a smooth tropical undercurrent. Quite nice.
Mouthfeel is a tad thin and lacks some carbonation.
