Pretty decent drinking IPA, nuanced, balanced, fresh tasting. Not too hazy. Very good with food. Fresh two weeks from the canning. Recommended to try.

Pint pour on draught at the brewery. Served in a Rastal-style IPA glass. It pours an opaque, bright tangerine color with a full finger of creamy, fluffy, eggshell-colored foam and very thick lacing. The fruity, fragrant nose features lemon, grapefruit, melon, and a whiff of red berry and stone fruit. The taste follows with big ripe melon, red berry, tropical fruits, and an oaty sweetness. Unfortunately, the hop bill is not identified. There is mild, clean bitterness throughout. Its mouth feel is extraordinary: luxuriously thick and creamy; much more viscous than a typical, single IPA. It is moderately carbonated and drinks big of its modest 6.8% ABV. Overall, I understand why Medalist is the brewer's pride and joy. It is a terrific flagship IPA: fruity and flavorful with a mouth feel to die for.

Interesting looking beer from the jump--very hazy, straw-colored pour. Not confirmed on the Bake's website but it may be wheat-malt based. The tropical and citrus nose fills the air in the vicinity of the glass, and the flavors follow. This is a juicy and delicious NEIPA. Very interested in exploring Bake's DIPA version of Medalist.

Smooth feel with some citrus. Opening a can even 3 months after canned date the aroma was top notch. This is a stock up and go to in the fridge. This brewery doesn’t really miss.

On tap at Bakes in a Nordic pint glass.
Hazy and cloudy whitewashed lemon yellow color. Nice white cap and continuous lacing.
It smells tropical with a touch of citrus.
Pineapple flavor leads the way. Wheat malt base.
Not a bad medium bodied juice feel with a tangy hop bitterness.
Pretty good hazy juicy beer.
