Pours a golden color with good clarity and 1/3" white head at the source. I dig the ski themes here. Schussboom. You've heard it if you've skied around me at Mt. Rose.
The aroma hits of classical band aids, its strong, traditional, but not quite with my cleaner yeast presence. This was just as much like a tripel yeast as it was a saison, if not more.
The taste wasn't quite a "tripel-esque" but it still shared plenty of similarities. I prefer my saisons a little lighter than this, the abv came through in the mouthfeel. The heft wasn't ridiculous, but again, beyond 90% of saisons, some of the deft touches of hay seem lost here. Didn't feel summery or spring like. I liked their other saison more than this, I think it was more French Wallonia than Belgian like this one.
Here is yet another beer I added to this Next Glass owned database. I also generated content in an attempt to keep a death spiral to calm to a mere flatline. RIP Charlie Kirk, such a disgusting thing to do.
