Poured from 16oz can into a dimpled mug. This is an "American Pilsner".
Appearance: light straw hue with only the faintest hint of haze and a thick, two-finger head of frothy eggshell foam.
Smell: very light malt aroma with a bit of a yeasty character to it. I don't know if this beer is brewed with adjuncts, but it has kind of a flat rice lager kinda aroma to it. Not awful, mind you, but not super enticing.
Taste: lightly sweet malt with just a hint of corniness and a somewhat moderate hop bitterness. It's not my favorite thing in the world, but for a light lager, it ain't too bad.
Mouthfeel: medium-light body with a pretty good carbonation and a decent creaminess.
Overall: I mean, at 4.1%, it's pretty drinkable. Compared to your typical domestic light lager, this isn't bad at all. Rich in character? No. But not bad.
