This Keller-style beer pours straw-gold with a fairly sturdy one-finger white head. There's a nice floral nose to this beer--very pleasant. The flavor is a touch of biscuit, a touch of hay or grass with a slightly malty finish. But that's where this beer leaves you wanting more. A touch of this and a slight bit of that makes for a mild, weak, less than satisfying experience.

12 oz can. Pours golden with long lasting white head. Aroma is of floral hops and biscuit malt. Body is medium and crisp. Grassy, herbal hops and biscuit malt combine on the palate. Finish is long and dry. Nice brew.

12oz can served in a footed pilsner glass. Can is dated 01/11/24. Got it from @jonphisher.
Pours crystal clear pale yellow, good sized head on the pour that settles to a clumpy mess, amalgamating around the edges of the glass, clinging up almost to the rim. Smell is primarily lemon and citrus, maybe a little bread in the background.
Taste is light, leaning toward grass and citrus, rind bitterness and an earthy bitterness as well. Ghost of honeysuckle sweetness in the background.
Mouthfeel is very light, clean, not quite hitting crisp but almost. Overall, the can art is pretty accurate. I could swig this while working in the yard or the garage.

Light straw in color, very clear, not crystal but close; white head, persistent film dome random lacing spots.
Nose is lightly doughy bread, lemon like honey pop, nice floral undertones.
Much of the same, fresh hearty white bread, again lemon/honey; hops take on a nice spicy grassy bite.
Light, closing in on medium, body; definite hop presence that it very cleanly cut by a perfectly clean and dry finish.
The finish that cuts through the hops is what makes this a great beer, so punchy yet so drinkable.

Carbonation is maybe just below average and the the same for the body but overall it has a nice feel, goes down easy.
Aroma is a blast of lemon fruit and peel followed by yeast, malt, grass, sticky doughy bread.
Taste for the most part stays true to the aroma with the citrus and grass lingering and coating the mouth.
Overall I would definitely look for this again

A clear lager with a subtle hop flavor and a nice dryness. I buy cans whenever they come out.

a: murky dark yellow with some faint brown and orange notes. 1/2 finger frothy, yet solid head. bright white
s: sweet grains, sharp grass and a big lager spice. lemongrass, some sweet citrus ,and dough. clean and elegant aroma
t: grainy, zesty lemongrass, and a touch of floral hops. grass, sweet grains and bread. big lager spice and an almost creamy grainy note. finish is floral and crisp
m: lighter side of medium with strong carbonation
o: nice and refreshing lager. pretty close to style, though it has a strong hop presence. it doesn't detract from it, it's just a nice floral note with some bitterness. definitely worth buying, a summer drinker that you can have multiples of

didn't leave review last year, thought it was a solid american style heavy czech influenced heavy alcoholic hellesbock.
but i see now its listed as a keller/zwickl. anyways top notch and the pricing beats the rest of the jersey craft beers i see here in southern nj. recommend as a lager drinker. Edit*Edit* The cans logo has changed to a green background, the lawnmowing character has put on some fat muscle, and it looks like he sports an anchor tattoo on his left, chuggin said brew as he continues to mow his lawn. the mufflers look like two doobies sparked up. anyay the beer is good, grab it if u see it.
THEY CALL THIS LAWN BOY NOW. DROPPED THE I FOR THE Y.

12 oz can, packaged on 7/6/2020.
Been hearing good things about Tonewood so I was excited when I saw my local store started carrying them and had to give this a try.
Hazy body and pale gold in color. Big, creamy, fluffy, white head with excellent retention. Lively carbonation throughout the duration of the beer. Sticky lacing on the glass.
Aroma of grainy malt and strong lemon citrus hops. A little bit of pear and white wine as well. Balance in the flavor is geared more towards the hops, with lemon sticking out more than anything else. Finishes lightly tart and dry. Prickly mouthfeel. Medium-light bodied.
My first Tonewood beer is a winner. This is a refreshing pilsner that can have a place in my fridge anytime. Love the Phish reference as well.

Poured from a 12oz can into a .25l mug.
From the can: "Brewed with 100% Weyermann® Floor-Malted Bohemian Pilsner Malt and hopped entirely with Czech Saaz from Crosby Hops®, this crisp and refreshing pilsner has notes of lilac and fresh summer rain".
Canned on 4/6/20. 5.6% abv, brewed in the German style.
A: The can makes no mention of it (but their instagram does) but this is a kellerpils. Thankfully it's not as unfiltered as some I've seen. This pours golden in color, mostly clear with a very slight haziness to it. Great carbonation with a fluffy white head that sticks to the glass for a very long time.
S: Lively noble hop aroma. Typical herbal, grassy notes from the Saaz. Subtle floral notes. Sweet, bready malt aroma. Very appealing.
T: Sweet, biscuity malt flavor. Subtle notes of honey balanced by a light herbal bitterness, perhaps a light lemon note. I don't know about the "summer rain" notes but lilac wouldn't be far off the mark. Complex yet simple for a beer of it's weight. Rustic. Very good.
M: Crispy mouthfeel; bone-dry finish. Beckons you to have another sip, as all good pilsners should do.
O: Excellent pilsner. Traditionally brewed (with the exception of being unfiltered), excellent flavors all around. They nailed the mouthfeel which is half the battle for a style like pilsner. It's simple let rustic and complex enough to savor and enjoy. It is very easy (perhaps too easy) to drink; I went through nearly 3 cases of this beer over the past 2 months and I'd buy more if it were available in a heartbeat. Another excellent pilsner from the folks @ Tonewood. 4.2/5

(16 oz pour at the brewery; served in a Euro pint glass; review copied over and edited from notes taken at the time)
Clear gold liquid; gummy, white foam, misty cap; thin lace rings... malty, Euro pale lager nose, floral perfumy hop, hint of smoky phenol... same on the palate, mild-strength bitter grassy-herbal hops; honey-biscuit aftertaste, but clean and dry... a lil too crisp?... lacks keller-lager(pils) muck, but its distilled essence is there... good drink, but make it hazier like your IPAs and only then can y'all call this a 'keller' - 3.8 overall (1654)
NOTE: contacted the brewery as whether or not this is their 'Mullet Cut', rebranded - waiting for a response
