330 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 9%. Clear and pale golden colour, huge white head. Aroma of spicy Belgian ale yeast, white kandij sugar syrup, coriander seeds and Curacao oranges. Fizzy mouthfeel. Spicy flavour with the same elements, moderate hops.

Copenhagen 30/4 2021. 33 cl bottle from Beerdealer web-shop. Painting of wild-eyed Conquistador on the label.
Pours clear golden yellow with a big, bubbly white head. Settles as thin layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet slightly sugar-laced, malty odor mingling with a fruity scent and a yeasty touch. Sweet malts, caramel. Banana and pear. Musty cellar.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, soft, smooth, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly more moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish and lingers for a bit. Finish is semi-dry.
Surprisingly light and easily drinkable for a Triple with an ABV of 9.

Being a Belgo-phile, I believe I've said many nice things about Roman over the years and won't attempt to repeat them now. Hence the Very Good Overall Hugs. This Tripel is nearly flawless with the minor excusable flaw that the ABV is noticed. (90% of BA-ers don't complain about that with regularity, even when true.)
This Tripel has a big bounteous head, so much so that I worry I won't get to drink it. But I do and it proves itself. Smells balance fruits and spices. The yeast proves its wide dimensions again in the fruity Tastes by adding Peppa and herbs and balance in the finish, which is hard to do. Medium-mouthed.

On tap in Punta Gorda with David at the Belgian Monk. A nice, fun tripel. Herbal notes and pear. A little more alcohol taste than I like. It paled next to the Abt 12 in the flight.

Pours a lovely light hazy blonde body, decent head, with moderate retention and excellent lacing.
Aroma is slightly boozy, but sweet with very subtle floral notes.
Taste is mighty fine, just the right amount of sweetness, malty with a light refreshing fruitiness. Lingering aftertaste urges you to drink more.
Feel is also top notch, smooth, not harsh at all, and given its 9%abv that is impressive. Superb warming sensation in the throat.
Overall an absolute gem of a beer, can not fault this in any department at all! Best Tripel? Might just well be. Needs more reviews.

L- Pale to mid-gold, unusually pale for a Tripel IME. Almost clear/sediment left in bottle. Pours with 1Cm white head. Holds pretty well right down and forms lacing.
S- Quite mild, just some leathery/timber notes.
T- The finish is pungent so by then you forget the brief intro flavour. The finish is typical Tripel, deep toasty-malty + pungent stewed fruit notes together with an ABV% zing brushing across the palate on each swallow.
F- It doesn't look 9% to me but it *certainly* feels it. An ideal slow-sipping winter warmer of a beer. Also at other times too, perhaps start with a decent chill on it and allow it to warm somewhat as you sip... As it warms it swiftly evolves and comes across as a touch sweeter and richer. (late ps. by the last 1/4 of the glass it is getting richer/sweeter yet; do not linger if rich/sweet are not your thing).
O- I wish I could have divined more from the Taste, but the ABV-zing when it came in in the finish over-wrote the more subtle opening flavour, having by then developed/opened on my palate.

Poured a clear, golden-colored body with minimal head and nominal lace. The aroma is fruity and spicy as one gets notes of fruit esters along with hints of yeast. Smooth, light, crisp, has a juicy sweetness akin to apples and a mild spiciness, along with touch of yeast/malt sweetness to add balance. For a triple it is not complex but it is easy to drink and enjoyable.

Pours a clear golden color with a medium top off white head that dissolves slowly.
Aroma is off apples, pears, peaches, vanilla, honey, spices and herbs.
The taste is sweet and fruity at the start before it goes to dry with strong notes of herbs and spices in the flavour before finishing off with a medium bitterness and a decent lenght in the aftertaste.
Mouthfeel is smooth and silky, but a little boozy. Medium carbonation with a medium body.
A nice and enjoyable triple.
