She's a peach! The use of imported special B-malt lends a natural 'raisiny' background flavor while cara-malt adds characteristic sweetness. She's brewed to be peachy enough to please, but not to overwhelm. Think, "Peach Cobbler"-Ale and enjoy Ophelia with dessert!

Clearly well past the 'enjoy by' date. Looks: a bit cloudy, almost fawn colored. Smell: dried peaches, or peach + raisins. Taste: again, peaches quickly into cara malt, something vaguely dried fruit tasting. Feel: still a nice prickle of carbonation, smooth otherwise. Overall: a good peachy, dessert beer. Probably good for pairing. Wouldn't drink more than one at a sitting.

Tried this once before and thought it was great. Let's see how this one fares during an actual review. 12oz bottle, best by Feb...
A: It's a clear deep brownish red with a small white head that fades quickly leaving a few bubbles. Decent.
S: Holy peaches! It's smells of a fresh ripe peach immediately upfront. It's kind of like you just opened a can of peaches. I really don't get anything else but peach. Decent.
T: Tastes of a mild hop biter upfront blended with a strange peach blend in the middle. This finishes with a mild malty roast that lingers on the taste buds. Smelled better than it tasted. It's kind a of a strange blend of flavors. Ok.
M: Light body with a hard carbonation. A bitter peach finish. Good.
O: All in all, this is an ok beer. If you love peaches, then you will love this beer. It smells like a can of peaches and tastes like a blend of beer and peaches. If that doesn't sound like your thing, then don't worry about this one.

Poured into a Sam Adams perfect pint glass
Appearance: cloudy, 1/4 inch head, orange/brown in color
Smell: big peaches
Taste: peaches, caramel malt, pale malt as well
Mouthfeel: sweet with a bitter pale backbone, light bodied, moderate carbonation
Drinkability: I wish they body of this beer was a little fuller and not quite as full of pale malts. This beer is decent if you like peaches, but for me was a bit of a disappointment. One and done for me.

Poured from a 12oz bottle into a US tumbler pint glass.
A: The beer is a light brown color, with a thin white head that fades quickly and leaves very little lace on the glass.
S: The aroma contains a lot of peaches as you would expect, some caramel, spices. Light malts and a touch of hops.
T: The taste likewise has a strong and dominating fruity peach flavor. The beer is called a "Peach Ale" so that's exactly what you would want. There are mild flavors of caramel and spices in the background along with a mild but complementary hops presence. The after-taste is slightly sweet.
M: Crisp and a little smooth, medium body, medium carbonation, finish is slightly sticky.
D: Tasty if you like the peach flavor, goes down easily, not too filling, mild kick, good representation of style, if you like peaches you'll like this beer, otherwise it's just mediocre.

12oz. bottle served in my SA Perfect Pint. Best by February notched on the label. Pours a semi-translucent copper with a loose, half-inch, cream-colored head embedded with ringlets. Head dissipates into a fairly consistent skim with a thick band of lacing around the perimeter of the glass. Nose screams peaches, with perhaps a hint of artificial sweetener towards the back. Peach flavor remains - some sweetness is briefly expressed at the start, but yields to a character more reminiscent of the tart, earthy skin, rather than the sweet flesh. This quality lingers at the finish, and is a bit acrid and bitter on the tastebuds between quaffs. Mouthfeel is light in body with a lively carbonation. No mistaking peaches in this brew, but the characteristics are a little off-putting. I've been generally pleased with the Cyclone Series; however, this one just didn't do it for me.

12 oz bottle poured into a seidel. Freshness label is notched for March 2011.
Appearance - Amber in color. Nice white, fluffy head after a semi-aggressive pour. Leaves dotted lace on the glass and sticks around after the pour for a decent amount of time.
Smell - Peach, but a syrupy sort of smell. It's almost what you would smell when you open a can of peaches. Not a bad thing, a very natural fruit smell to it, just hard to describe. I wouldn't say it's like smelling a freshly cut peach, put it that way.
Taste - More peaches! Imagine that. Unique flavor. I can't say that I've had a peach ale that is this close to the taste of peaches.
Mouthfeel - Medium-bodied with decent carbonation. Smooth flavor, not overpowering peach punch in the face. Just enough to make it quite enjoyable.
Drinkability - It's drinkability doesn't change from cold to room temperature when that changes. I could easily sit down and sip a few of these, but beyond that, I could wait a week (actually, I did) before I dive into it again.
Overall, a very nice offering from Coastal Extreme.
