Quimera Brewpub "Raspberry Sour"
From a brown glass bottle with no volume listed (it's 33 cl). The lot number is illegible as condensation has caused the ink to run. 4,50€ direct from the brewery.
Notes via stream of consciousness: The volume is not listed on the label but it appears to be a 12 oz./33 cl. brown glass bottle. The lot number and production date are illegible. It's poured a hazy peach colored body without any head. The aroma is fruity but non-specific, and a bit mineralish. The taste follows and there's some clear raspberry to it but it's not brightly raspberry, and more like a raspberry infused wine. It's tart and thus quite dry in the finish. I'm not finding any hops, as should be the case. In the mouth it's medium bodied and gently crisp. All in all it's pretty obvious that the majority of the fruitiness is real, and if they have used some flavorings it's certainly not clear. I feel that it's well balanced and rounded and quite nice.
