Quimera Brewpub "Peach Gose"
From a brown glass bottle with no volume listed (it's 33 cl). The lot number is "1 29 LI8423". 4,50€ direct from the brewery.
Notes via stream of consciousness: The volume is not listed on the label but it appears to be a 12 oz./33 cl. brown glass bottle. It's poured a hazy golden body beneath a short head of white that dropped almost immediately. In the nose it's clearly acidic, a little mineralish, and fruity. The taste is fuller with a balanced saltiness and clear peach flavor. As is the case with all of their beer it's a natural fruitiness and no artificial flavors have been added. The bitterness is minimal but the acidity is enough to balance it and it finishes dry with some mineral character, a little bit of leather, and some dry oak lingering. It's really charming and refreshing with fruit, salt, and drying Brett character. I'm not a big fan of peach but I like it here and I could drink a lot of this. In the mouth it's medium-light in body and gently crisp but with a zestiness on the tongue due to the acidity. Very nicely done!

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
