Quimera Brewpub "Blueberry Sour"
28 cl. glass/3,75€ on tap at the brewery on 20 November 2024
Notes via stream of consciousness: It's a hazy reddish in color beneath a short lived head of white foam. The aroma is wonderful! It's fruity with a fair amount of brettanomyces that displays wet straw, leather, and fruit. That's a huge plus for me. The taste follows but there's no clear blueberry to it. It's tart and dry in the finish. I'm not finding any hops, as should be the case. In the mouth it's medium bodied and gently crisp but with a bit of an acidic bite. All in all it's got a lot of character, if not blueberry fruitiness, and it's well balanced and highly enjoyable.
