In my opinion this beer develops very well over time, from what I recall this beer contains all the cultures from the previously released beers of that year, so think of it as an anniversary to an extent.
Had multiples of the one from 2016, started off slightly off, decent funk. Subsequently gained tartness and a nice crisp lemongrass flavor. I'll try to remember to update when I do a side by side of '16 & '17.

Poured from a 500ml bottle into a Duvel tulip glass.
Pours hazy bright orange yellow body with a pretty big fizzy white head that reduces to leave a little lacing and not much retention.
Aromas are very inviting - funky farmhouse, heavy peach , mango, citrus, lactic, white wine, spices. Stunning on the nose.
The tongue doesn't exactly match the nose, but is still tasty. Peppery, wheaty, light tart fruit and citrus rind, grapefruit, light oak, light bitterness on the finish. Medium high carb and medium light body, very drinkable.
The nose is amazing, the taste is a solid standard farmhouse. Very drinkable.

A grassy and farmhouse with some mango zest and a bit of funk. Overall, a nice saison.
