A very nice rendition adhering closely to the traditional style.
While slightly more amber and slightly less dark than the typical Scottish, Scotty Dog retains its foam pretty well to the end and leaves lace. Smells expectedly mostly malt. Tastes follow, but there are just enough bittering hops to make this interesting to someone who is not an incurable malt-head like me. Not quite medium-mouthed.
I've reviewed a Mighty Pine flight in Places and my previous beer review. In sum... for a micro less than a year old, Might Pine makes mighty fine darks.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
