Bottled grabbed at the brewery a couple weeks ago
Pours a light fizzy head, fades semi quickly no lacing, crystal clear blond apple flesh color
Nose brings a little raw apple, like starchy apple, but lots of farmhouse doughy malt, straw, saison funk notes and spices, lots of raw bread dough, a touch of tartness, mild tart cider apple like, little dry farmhouse funk way in the background
Taste more tart apple out front, a little apple cider, starchy dry apple flesh, into more raw bread dough, doughy wheat malt, little rye and grainy like farmhouse grains, with more farmhouse funk almost spontaneous apple cider like yeast funk, touch of spices and saison funk, dry starchy finish, more apple and a little farmhouse lingering
Mouth is med bod, a bit dry but not too dry, nice fizzy carb
Overall not bad, fairly balance, nice tart apple and cider notes with farmhouse funk, not quite enough saison in general for me but enjoyable, apple cider finish hints at super dry mouth smashing but never gets that far

Thanks to JLindros for hooking me up with a bottle of this.
A - Poured into my Duvel tulip a crystal clear golden straw hue with a thin quarter inch white head that fades slowly to leave a thin wispy blanket.
S - Aromas of apple skin, apple juice, yeasty funk. Smells like a funky hard cider.
T - Taste is similar to the nose. A bit more on the saison side than apple cider. Apple peel and juice is a bit fainter, solid farmhouse yeast, maybe a little bit of lemon.
M - Mouthfeel is nicely carbonated, however, the body is rather light/thin.
O - Overall this was an interesting beer. The apple notes here are certainly front and center, especially lingering on the after taste. Taste and aroma wise this could definitely be sold as a hard craft cider and I don't think anyone would be the wiser.
