Best by 053020 on label. Poured into. Samuel Adams Perfect Pint glass.
A: slightly hazy straw yellow with 1-finger white head with good retention and solid lacing.
S: grassy, haylike noble hop notes with subtle pale pils malt graininess
T: highly flavorful pils with light cereal grain sweet pils malt undertone with grassy, herbal noble hop character. Bitterness is medium. Very clean lager. I don't get much keller character from this beer.
M: clean and crisp with light body and moderate carbonation.
O: extremely flavorful pils with great balance of graininess, pils malt sweetness, grassy, slightly spicy noble hoppiness, and subtle bitterness. Stellar pale lager.

On draft at the brewery. I added this as an American lager because it does seem to be a cross between a Kellerbier and a German pilsner. This was poured into a lager glass and here are my thoughts.
The appearance was a fairly nice looking burnt yellow to semi-orange transparent color with a two finger white foamy head. This fell off delicately and left some mellow lace running here and there.
The aroma had some grassy hops sweetly and a super subtle floral hop kiss running through some German malts invoking some clean biscuits and white cracker whiffs.
The flavor leaned towards the sweet end but allowed a delicious grassy hop undertaking for a fabulous balance. Mild aftertaste of some grassy hop spice and biscuity malts.
The mouthfeel was about light bodied, perhaps just a touch above with a fine sessionability about it. Good carbonation yielding to a wonderful smoothness strolling along my tongue. Finishes semi-crisp with grassy and floral hops rolling into smooth biscuity malts.
Overall, I figured by adding this into the BA database as an American lager that would be a "catch all" to fairly rate. I'd say it's unique and well done!
