16oz can into a pint glass. Best by 4/15/21, so plenty fresh. Picked up a 4 pack at the brewery this morning
Paraphrasing from the can, Ale brewed with 22lbs of Cara Cara oranges per barrel. Hornindal Kveik yeast and a shot of milk sugar.
Looks pretty good in the glass, hazy orange body with a small white head. This shrinks to a fat ring and covering, and leaves some attractive lacing
Aroma of oranges, seems muted somehow.
On tasting, good orange taste, neither bitter nor sweet. Nice balance. Milk sugar is apparent though.
Mouth between medium and full, finish oranges. The milk sugar leads to a slight coating of the tongue, but for once, this is a pleasant feature
Overall, pretty tasty offering here. I go back and forth on Troeg's fruit and sour offerings, but this one is a winner in my books.
