Our Crafty Radler includes a mix of grapefruit and tangerine soda that we created in-house. It exhibits a natural cloudy pink colour from the added juice. This mixture gives off a refreshing smell of ripe, freshly sliced grapefruit with sweet notes of ripened tangerines. There is also a slight lingering aroma of Willamette hops that create the base of this delicious blend. The taste of this Crafty Radler is as appealing to the taste buds as it is to the nose; the grapefruit flavour dances with the sweetness of tangerines, while the malt and hops give a balanced foundation.

At my lady Pamela's house; canned and chilled, 473mL in a pint glass. From my favourite but now closed The Beer Store on Goyeau St. in nearby downtown Windsor. Lot number A08251006. My third beer from the Moncton, New Brunswick brewery, and for 2025. With Sundae the cat...

Pretty good as radlers go, but just a touch too sweet. Could stand a little more tartness or other thing to take the edge off the sugar. Delightfully aromatic and flavourful, though.
Slightly hazy pale orange-gold. Short white head settles quickly to a ring. Beer and fruit both on the nose. A bit of sparkle and bite on the palate - just enough to keep it from being too syrupy. Nice blend of red grapefruit and tangerine flavours. Decent as a radler, better effort than a lot of others.

473 mL can from the LCBO; the date stamp is smudged. Served slightly chilled. One of a half dozen or so shandies/radlers that I need to plow through over the next couple of days: after all, how else am I to determine which ones are worth guzzling repeatedly this summer?
Pours a foggy pinkish-golden colour, producing one finger of soapy, bubbly white head that dissipates within two minutes' time. An attractive collar and thin cap of foam stick around, paired with a narrow band of sticky lace; looks better than most radlers. As for the nose, grapefruit soda and orange juice immediately come to mind, along with hints of lemon, lime, and white grapefruit pith.
Delicious stuff, and stupendously refreshing to boot. Tangerine and grapefruit soda flavours dominate, supported by hints of lime and a light sugary sweetness, as well as some grainy pale malts. Grapefruit and tangerine remain the primary theme through to the finish, which is juicy, tart, and features shades of lemonade sweetness. Light-ish in body, with middling carbonation levels; a little slippery and persistent on the palate, and it feels a bit heavier than I'd prefer for this type of brew. At 4.7%, it's slightly burlier than your average radler, but still a sterling summer session option.
Final Grade: 3.99, a solid B+. Crafty Radler is an excellent summer quaffer - probably one of my top five in the radler category, and undoubtedly one of the best new ones I've tried in years. My only other Pump House experience was with their Blueberry Ale, which I didn't much care for, but this top notch radler was a delight for the senses from start to finish. Almost as good as Stiegl's, which is high praise coming from me.

Hazy pink with fizzy head. Strong grapefruit on the nose from the fruit soda. The only evidence of beer is the weight versus a soda. Refreshing.

473ml can poured into tulip 25/2/17
A hazy pink salmon, light pink foam hangs around for a while leaving lots of spider web lace
S tangerine, and grapefruit are strong, some lemon, and lime, 7-up pop, pretty much what I expected
T again it is what it claims, more of a alcopop then beer but that's the goal so you can't fault it for being exactly what it claims
M more weight then expected, very slick in the mouth, light and airy from the bubbles, sweet citrus keeps going
O its not really my thing but as far as radlers go it might be one of the better ones I've encountered
At least this one has enough booze to catch a buzz on a hot day, I suppose there's a time and a place for everything.....

473ml can - a blend of grapefruit and tangerine into an unspecified base brew.
This beer pours a fairly hazy, medium golden yellow colour, with a near-teeming tower of puffy, rocky, and chunky off-white head, which leaves some randomly strewn paramecia lace around the glass as things quickly abate.
It smells of orange, lemon, white grapefruit, and, sure, tangerine citrus rind, a muddled pale grainy maltiness, and very little else. The taste is bready and doughy pale malt, a still heady red Texas grapefruit, blood orange, and sugary lemon citrus character, and some very tame leafy, earthy, and piney green hop bitterness.
The carbonation is quite active in its palate-tickling frothiness, the body a so-so middleweight, and generally smooth, with a wee airy creaminess kickin' it from the veritable get-go. It finishes off-dry, the mixed citrus character really the only lingering game in this particular town.
Overall, this is a pleasant enough rendition of this summery style (minus points for the rep's timing, of course), with a big fruity blast to my better cognitive senses. Tasty, and worthy of breakfast visitation with my pre-schooler's juice boxes come morning - perhaps if we lived in Europe, or something.

Serving Type: 473 mL Can
A- Pours a hazy Red-Pink with a 1 finger white head that dissipates fairly quickly. No lacing.
S- Grapefruit, tangerine, and a slight herbal hoppiness.
T- Grapefruit and tangerine dominate here (mostly grapfruit) with no real hop presence.
M- Light body and moderate to high carbonation. Crisp and refreshing.
O- Despite what the label said, there really wasn't much in the way for malt or hops but have no fear, because this is an absolutely delicious radler. While traditional radler's are great (think of Stiegl), the tangerine here really tones things up. Top notch Radler that would be killer on a hot summers day.

Too much fruity. You cannot taste the beer at all. I love the taste of that beer, but a bit too fruity.
