A mix of house-made blood orange and peach craft soda with the award-winning beer from Pump House Brewery. With a hint of fresh peaches and with sweet notes of freshly cut oranges, this refreshing blend pairs perfectly with the slight lingering aroma of Willamette hops.

Hazy orange with a modest even head and cap. Sweet orange nose. Light body, the light beer is there but heavily overlaid with orange soda. A hint of peach towards the end.

Tallboy from Superstore; coded J2821 and served slightly chilled.
Pours a hazy orange-amber with a pinkish blush, producing two fingers of foamy, pale pink-tinged head that fades within five minutes or so. A beautiful curtain of ringed lace is left behind, in addition to a wide collar of creamy froth - lookin' great so far. Peach drink and orange Crush on the nose, in that order - smells quite sweet, like a fruity fountain soda.
It's not bad, but I honestly don't get any blood orange here - orange soda for sure, and the peach drink still comes through clearly, but no blood whatsoever (or beer, for that matter). It's sugary throughout, with peach lingering into the aftertaste before fading slowly. Light medium in body, and briskly carbonated, with a frothy, refreshing mouthfeel; it's easy enough to gulp back, and sessionable in theory, but so un-beer-like that I don't find it very satisfying at all.
Final Grade: 3.53, a B grade. I'm celebrating Canada Day by reviewing two radlers from opposite ends of the country - a second one from BC, and this Blood Orange & Peach Crafty Radler from Pump House in New Brunswick. Sadly, their original Crafty Radler is way better IMO, and I would suggest you give that a try first, unless perhaps you have a deep and abiding affection for peach-flavoured drinks. Cheers!
