Poured from a capped-and-corked 750mL bottle into my Rodenbach tulip.
Burnt sienna (Maerz and Paul) liquid, murky with a half finger of dense beige foam. Very good retention; fine sandy lacing, fast running tears.
Rich weird aromatics suggest wild berries, currants, and dilapidated forest shacks. Yeast forward and quite unique.
Kombucha, juniper vinegar, and light barley tea notes on the palate. Moderate bitterness with a passing sourness. Long medium finish with lingering woodsy/burnt honey/sorrel/apple skin notes. Almost like an Arnold Palmer with a generous dash of bitters and a hint of wild mushrooms.
Medium-light bodied, somewhat soda-like. ABV well concealed. Weirdly refreshing.
I think this is only the second or third example of the style I've had, so it is difficult to rate. Another lovely oddity from Mr. Prignon.

Bottle. White head. Copper amber color.
This is a really easy drinking tome. Very flavorful. Juniper berries, mint, raspberry iced tea. Some saison spice, notes, but on the fruitier side of things with some herbal notes showing. A bottle I had no problem drinking solo.

Unboiled ale with sahti mash. Hazy amber color with white head, aroma and taste of pizza with oregano, spices, tomatoes and mushrooms, medium body, very interesting beer.
