Made with t Hofbrouwerijke. Bottle from Be Hoppy, served at home in a Fantôme tulip glass.
Hazy yellow color, massive head that never seems to fade, great sticky lacing.
Aroma is, as usual with Fantôme, funky, with citrics, cloves, belgian yeast, fruits, earth, champagne, wheat, grapes.
Medium body, rogh texture, good carbonation. Dry bitter finish.
Taste is earthy, oranges, clove, grapes, banana.
Fantôme never dissappoints you.

second batch, looks like a collaboration, not sure where it was made, the branding on the label sure likes like a normal fantome beer, ghost art and all, but its in a tiny bottle, which is not their norm, so not positive, looks like its listed here on BA under both breweries involved, if anyone knows more, let me know. i absolutely adored this, for one it seems pretty fresh, and these rarely are in the states, so there is a killer expression of the fantome saison yeast on display at its very best in this, which alone makes the beer. the bottle conditioning is also absolutely perfect, this effervesces like champagne, feels soft and pillowy, even creamy on the palate, and is downright refreshing, just magic. the beer is brewed with grapefruit and quite a lot of hops, bitter the whole way, both from pith and from hops it seems, love the freshness, not used to it in these, but definitely wishing it were a bigger bottle, i could drink this endlessly! a little bit of a rusty richer orange color to this, and it presents pretty malty, sweet for a bit in the middle, some earthy bready almost granola character in the taste, good balance against all the bitterness. love that there is some hops to this, and yeah its bitter, but its also fruity from the hops, melon to me, mandarin orange from the can, married in beautifully with this spicy funky yeast, faintly bretty to me, zero oxidation which i grapple with in fantome beer, and major white pepper and coriander seed character, so good! minerals, whole wheat, faint astringency late, rushing carbonation, absolutely brilliant belgian saison here, rustic but refined to a high degree too, a nice collaboration, so thankful to have had this, my kind of beer!

Appearance - murky golden body with thick white head and a lot of sediment floating around
Smell - vanilla, clove, coriander, tangerine
taste - tangerine, lemon zest, lime, grapefruit, clove, hint of vanilla
Mouthfeel - medium bodied, medium plus carbonation, citrus upfront, citrus and spice on the back end
Overall - nice saison here, I had never seen this before, so picked it up to give it a try and I am not disappointed.
Price Point - $7.99/11.2 oz bottle

Appearance: Pours a hazy apricot color with a massive head that only the Belgians seem to know how to produce; excellent retention; clumps of lacing stick
Smell: Phenolic Belgian yeast aromatics with clove, pepper and lime zest penetrating
Taste: Tart wheat and farmhouse funk forward; clove, pepper and lime zest flavors emerge, in the middle; the phenols build, after the swallow, bringing a funky finish
Mouthfeel: Light to medium body with high carbonation
Overall: Not the best thing I have had from Fantome but it is nice to see some bottles show up locally

33 cl bottle. Batch 2 d. Lot 06 07 22.
Stored in the fridge and still massive head. Settles fairly quickly.
Bubblegum and Belgian yeast. Honestly don’t think I’d guess citrus fruit was added as I taste none of it. Barnyard notes of hay/straw. Typical Fantome house saison flavor. Cloves, spices, banana, wheat, barley. Very smooth for a Fantome. None of the medicinal notes or aggressive bitterness that sometimes comes with the ghost. Really digging this bottle and the small format.

Hazy orange, ample foam, lasting halo of lace.
Bitter citrus peel zest, grapefruit peel, phenolic Belgian yeast in the aroma.
Taste is firmly bitter, citrus peel front and center, with some phenolic yeast spiciness. Bubblegum, clove, earth, resiny grapefruit peel.
Medium bodied, pillowy feel, ample carb.
Overall this is pretty nice, a departure from the usual Fantôme mixed ferm tartness, more of a classic & straightforward Belgian saison.
