I'm not usually a fan of collabs, but this seems like an awesome pairing
Pours a foamy semi creamy 1 finger head with good retention, good lacing, mostly clear honey golden color

Nose brings big Brett barnyard funk and possibly a bit of souring bacteria funk, a bit of sweet golden malt, some citrus and stone fruit, farmhouse spice notes, candied apricot really comes through as it warms,

Taste starts with a balanced funk, some barnyard Brett funk, possibly souring bacteria but not much acidity, grassy wet hay earthy funk, more fruit with some citrus, apricot jam, a bit of citrus grapefruit zest like, some bitterness mostly citrus rind like, finishes on the drier side, lingering citrus rind and a bit bready barnyard funk

Mouth is med bod, med carb with small bubbles like bottle conditioned

Overall very nice farmhouse beer, great fruity esters and bitter rind characters, nice barnyard funk but tamed and balanced, don't think there is any bacteria as I don't really get the acidity of a lambic kinda beer, but quite nice

a collaboration with saint somewhere, who i thought i had heard closed up shop, maybe i am wrong about that, hopefully. was stoked to find this bottle in the wild, really nice beer, very fantome, but admittedly not all that different from some others they make, its clean, bitter, and herbaceous, with a little green glass skunk to it but not super old tasting like these can sometimes be, familiar fantome yeast. real clear pour until the bottom of the bottle where there is some sediment, real shiny, gorgeous almost nitro thick head on it, pure white, awesome rich honey to rust orange color. aroma and flavor are yeast forward, slightly sweet and grainy, with some back end bitterness, could be spiced lightly, white pepper, anise, coriander notes, lots of hops, its lingering and bitter on the palate. no real funk to this, some belgian esters, almost hits like a well hopped tripel. i get clover, green tea, lemon zest, there is a freshness even though the green glass thing pulls in the other direction. neat beer, familiar for fantome, but real drinkable, bubbly, and satisfying, a nice grain profile. less weird overall than anticipated, but i would drink this one again anytime! fantome remains a favorite, and i cherish each of their beers...

"Best before end 2015" clearly a mis-print (I believe this was intended to say "2025"). Poured from a capped and corked 750mL bottle into my Unibroue tulip.

Amber body, floral white soft peaks. Thick fine lacing; excellent retention.

Bright, citrus/wildflower/alfalfa aromatics with hints of spice and faint funk.

Sweet, bitter, and complex flavor profile which continues to evolve long into the finish. Malt, spices, burnt sugar, and earthy/herbal notes. Dry finish with a lingering grassy/weedy bitterness not entirely from hops. Hints of wood. Very low tartness/funk.

Creamy, medium bodied, with prickly full carbonation, moderate tannic bite, and alcohol warmth.

Interesting collaboration - though the various elements are competing somewhat.

On tap at Glory Beer Bar in Philly. A weird beer. Not your standard saison. Nothing in excess with this beer, but a strange enjoyable mixture.

Smokey in both the nose and palate. Some sourness/lactic in the nose. The smoke is not overwhelming but if you have it on tap you’re going to ask if they pulled the correct beer. Almost still. Some hoppiness and sourness, but all low. Dry finish, even acrid, reminding of smokiness.

Never tasted anything quite like it. It has tarteness, earthiness, spiciness, bitterness and crispness all perfectly blended into one beer. Beautiful dry finish too.
