11/10/17...pours a deep chocolate brown, light off white foam. Malty, english pale nose. Toffees. Chewy malt, light sweetness. Classic english ESB taste. light mouthfeel, thin. Well made for the ESB style.

Pours a pale rust color with solid head. Smell is of toast and a hint of hops. Taste is similar with the breadiness giving way to tea and a hint of apple or some fruit coming through.

I tried this on tap at the Harrisburg location served chilled in an imperial pint.
the color is dark amber with translucent clarity and thin off white head with fine bead and decent retention. The smell is malt forwards with a roasted malt scent. the feel is moderately sweet with medium high carbonation and roasted texture with semi-dry finish.
The taste is ok, it starts with a slight toasted flavor with a creaminess that may be from the moderately high carbonation and light caramel sweetness mid palate with a residual sweetness lingering in the finish. Overall this presents more like a nut brown ale -it could use more bitterness to balance for my taste
