While I'm sure my rating will forever stand out as the highest rDev of all time in the history of ever, I really don't give a flying bat's gizzard.
Bottom line is I was hot, tired, covered with mud, dust, dirt and mosquito bites, having worked by the lights of my truck for the last three hours.
And come 1130pm, this is what was available for beer.
And you know what? It was good.
The low ABV was perfect for the situation. My thirst was quenched. My pallet was flavored. I had beer. And seriously, I enjoyed every sip.
So all you sour, stout and IPA snobs, please eat my shorts.
Because every single moment of your beer existence can't be spent going over the top of your last quintiple IPA, super-duper mega-sour, or Russian imperial stout so thick it resembles Rasputin's most memorable bowel movement.
Nope. Sometimes regular Joe goes right along with having to choose from modelo, shiner or corona.
And you know what? I'm ok with that. And this beer was good.

Ah there's been a few of these I haven't gotten around to reviewing, but looks like one goes by the wayside today.
I guess Bud Light did a bunch of these too, and they're pretty much indistinguishable from each other in my book. Pours a slightly darker yellow color, tomato baby, put that influence all over that thing. Impressive 3/5" white head. Wasn't expecting that level. The aroma had that spicy sweet thing going for it. I can dig it, sucka. We coming for you.
The taste, I dunno, not being a bloody mary guy, even less of a chelada guy. Its like, an ounce or two, ok, I can do this, but after that, it gets cumbersome. Just isn't much in the way of anything customary beer wise, hops, malt, yeast stand out here. Its just like a morning wake you up smoothie vibe for it, but with that garbage spicy candy they dig on. Wicked and wily. Its flavor profile is all adjunct: tomato, spice, salt. Your enjoyment largely depends on your appreciation for those things.

Hazy orange brew with just a wisp of foam in the glass. Inviting fruity aroma. Actually pretty good if you like a hot fruity mess! Tangy and very decent mango flavor with a modest amount of chile heat. Oh, and sweet-- very, very sweet. Mouth-filling and juicy with a sharp finish. This is among the best of these flavored Cheladas, but it still taste likes Mexican soda pop but the thick texture gives it away. From the giant can purchased at the Shell station store.

A hint of orange in color with specs of chili floating around in it. On the nose it smells like fruit candy or fruit gum. A small amount of tomato flavor, lots of mango flavor, slightly salty, with a mild heat to it, and the flavor hangs around for a while. A very taste beverage, the only things holding it back are the price and the 3.5% abv. I could see having 3 24oz cans of this, not sure if I could handle the sweetness of sessioning more though.

Opaque orange, momentary finger of foam rises and falls. Big aroma of gummy peach rings. Taste is fruity, lightly tart, salty and savory with a vague chile tingle in the back of the throat. Medium bodied, end of the glass is a little fatiguing, but thankfully not too sweet or artificial.

Part of an assorted Chelada 12’er from TW. Popping the top I get a nice mango waft. Pours to a bright papaya color with a faded white head that disappears fast. Taste is a carbonated mango tang and fresh spice bite up front and a sweet and spicy middle with a clingy yet dry chipotle finish. I like the belt, I like the tang, I like the saltiness. This chelada pack has paid off. The style is growing on me.

24oz can poured into a Pint glass.
Appearance is hazy orangish amber with two fingers of off-white head. Retention is average leaving a thin collar.
Smell is slightly below medium in strength. It smells like artificially flavored fruit punch.
Taste is medium in strength. It tastes like artificially flavored fruit punch, a bit of salt, a little lime and a very light chile taste that's hotter than mild salsa but no where near medium salsa. I like chile mango flavored stuff but this doesn't taste like mango and it's difficult to drink at first.
Feel is slightly above medium in thickness. Carbonation is high. Astringency is very low.
Overall, it's disgusting.

(24 oz can, BB JAN 2023; purchased cold single... poured into my Belhaven pub pint)
L: crazy hazy, orange amber liquid; fleeting, fizzy foam... not much else to speak of
S: more of an orange soda and apricot aroma rather than mango; hint of red chile definitely apparent... great intensity, if loose, lousy expression... smells more like a Latin-aisle boxed fruit nectar than beer with flavorings
T: spicy chile jumps out a little more on the palate but, yeah, what is up with this not-mango, ambiguously tropical (passionfruit?!) fruit component?... aftertaste is more like orange drink and Tajin... the featured flavors do eventually fall into a good balance and contrast upon the backdrop of malt beverage flavor... semi-sweet, the framing of which tastes of energy drink
F: light-medium bodied with a delicate oily viscosity that with the alcohol leaves some legs stretching back down the palate precipice... everlasting soft sizzle with each sip, which definitely saves this from immediate drain pour...
O: the latest installment in my milestone-100 series; probably just gonna pull from the Modelo catalog for the foreseeable future... this wasn't terrible, wasn't amazing; it was just surprisingly good enough... didn't get close to (wanting to) finish this, but you know... (1900)

24 ounce can, best by end AUG 2022 stamped on the bottom. Served in a pint glass, the beer pours a somewhat hazy dark golden/orange color with about an inch off-white head. Head didn't stick around for very long, and there isn't much lacing either. Aroma is sweet and fruity, the brew smells mostly like mango with a bit of oranges too. Taste is similar to the aroma, but with the addition of a bit of chili spice. Heat is mild and I wish there was more of a spicy kick. I think the mango dominates in both the taste and aroma. Mouthfeel/body is light, it's a bit coating and easy to drink with a moderate amount of carbonation. Would be pretty good on a hot day. I liked this brew, recommend it more to people who like mango. Wouldn't mind trying this again in the future!
