Today is a pretty special day for us here at Moonlight. Nearly 8 weeks ago we had our buddy Wynn from Wondrous Brewing (whose beer if you're not drinking you definitely should be,) up to brew our first collaboration together on our system here in Santa Rosa. What we came up with is a modern take on a Moonlight classic four-grain lager, this time brewed with Barley, Unmalted Wheat, Corn and Rice for a super light colored, dry but well bodied base to a little hop experimentation, with Loral, Brewers Gold and Crosby Hops Oregon Estate Grown Comet. We are elated with this one and we hope you will be too.

Thanks, Cassidy and Chris.
A clear light yellow with a dense, white head with good retention and lacing. The nose upfront has notes of Lorien and Comet, with a pear, stone fruit, pine and lime, on a raw and rustic base. Grainy with a nice depth. The palate has a nice bitterness, clean and modern with gooseberry, mint and honeydew. Drying, clean finish. Solid!

A bit bummed because Moonlight is my “Twilight” (gosh Robert Pattinson is dreamy). But it doesn’t hit me like a vampire bite. Trust me. It’s good. But I wanted it to be like being slayed by Buffy.

In tap at Windsor Homebrew Supply, Anaheim.
Light gold in hue. Fluffy. Generous head. Solid retention. Layered lacing.
Nose is grass and slightly peppery noble hops with hints of citrus. Slightly floral.
Flavor is slightly dry in its presentation of citrus zest, grass, and mild spice.
Mouthfeel is light, good carb, and finished dry.
