Received it as a surprise from my wife. She doesn't drink alcohol but loves to buy me a brew that she hasn't seen me consume yet. And so here we are with this bummer purchase.
It tastes like the hundreds of other weasel pisses that are being sold around the world under the name "beer". With one exception - the sweetness of honey. So let's give it that.
Otherwise, no head, carbonation that flattens quickly and the nose that smells like those beverages I have referred to above.
Thanks Honey (pun intended), the only way to know how good or bad something tastes, is by trying. So your purchase is appreciated.

This beer pours a golden honey color, with almost no head. One of the peculiar things to me was the viscous nature of the beer. It pours like a thin syrup, and this to me is unappealing. Smell is very sweet, with notes of honey and florals. The taste is sweet and sugary, no evidence of hops, it is quite odd. The feel is the most disappointing part of this beer. It is thick and syrupy, almost feels like drinking some Mrs Butterworth. There is no noticeable carbonation, and the finish is very slimy. I have to admit, I am not sure if all Braggots have these qualities, but this is a very unappealing beverage. It does not make me want to try the style again.

Clear golden color, a bit of white head. Aroma is similar to cough syrup with some propolis. Taste starts with a slight sweetness but overall it’s quite dry and it doesn’t taste too good. It’s weird, I don’t like it.

pours a clear, apple juice-esque, yellow with plenty of bubbly carbonation. no head.
scent is apple juice and grape juice, a bit sour on the nose. a little bit of grassiness.
Sweet sweet flower nectar right away, concentrated white grape juice, green apple, dries out toward the finish with a champagne, dry chardonnay taste that sweeps in nicely. Finishes dry and a bit tart and with a hint of a baking spice.
overall interesting style that likely was a labour of love to recreate. Far more like a sparkling wine or a cider than a beer but nice and refreshing if you enjoy something sweeter. not all that much complexity or depth to the flavours but still pleasant.

375 mL caged-and-corked bottle from the LCBO; served slightly chilled. Glad to see they finally ditched those goofy ceramic bottles - it allows for a much more reasonable price point.
Pours a foggy golden-amber colour, producing one finger of short-lived white froth that fizzles away in under 30 seconds. A thin, dense collar is the only remnant, though it leaves splotches of lacey legs behind as you tilt the glass. Very sweet on the nose - lots of nice honey, with notes of red licorice candy, floral hops and apricot. Not quite cloying, but getting there.
The flavour profile is relentlessly sweet, and not in a particularly appealing way. There is more than enough honey and sugar sweetness for my tastes, with hints of butterscotch and candied apricot further emphasizing the saccharine nature of the profile. Some grassy earthiness briefly comes through toward the finish, but instead it's a boozy, red licorice candy sweetness that lingers into the aftertaste. Medium-bodied, with very gentle - but noticeable - carbonation that weakly agitates the tongue. The mouthfeel is smooth and a bit slimy, and the alcohol is adequately masked. It's a decent sipper, if nothing else.
Final Grade: 3.27, a passable C+. Trafalgar's Mead Braggot is not a brew that I would recommend very strongly, and in all honesty I think I prefer most of their fruit braggots to this one. It would be nice if there were a bit more contribution from the hops, or the malts for that matter, as this comes off as a very one-dimensional drink to me. Is it awful? No - I'll have no trouble finishing this glass, and I'd drink it again if offered. But I really doubt I'll be spending another five bucks for more of this - there's just too many locally-produced meads that blow it out of the water.

Purchased at the LCBO for around $4.00 or so for a 375ml bottle. Served at 4deg C in a draught glass
A- Opens well and pours no head at all. Barely a bubble to be found. Cork was good. Very dark gold color. Clear
S- Sickly sweet. Hint of peach and caramel
T- Light for the alcohol percentage. Has a sickly sweet taste with tons of sugar.
M- No carbonation at all. Very low on the tongue scale. Slimy at the end
O- Taking the other one back. Not my cup of tea. Hope this is not the way mead is
Food Pairing
This ok drink went well with..... Channa Palak. A smoking hot Indian dish couldn't stand up to this syrupy beverage.
Enjoy

Was nothing special but for the bottle. The nose was sweet and got you a little excited to try this brew but once I took a drink I was let down. The mouth feel was light and watery with non of the honey aromas I experienced in the smell. Another below average beer from Trafalgar

Ceramic bottle from the LCBO: Poured a bubbly golden color mead with a large white bubbly head with minimal retention. Aroma of stale honey notes with weird dry hops is not really pleasant. Taste is dryer then expected with weird dry hops notes and light stale honey notes. I should learn to stop buying beers for Trafalgar and no their mead is also quite awful.
