Pours a deep ruby. Bright chestnut, if you will. Defintely glows with it's own inner light.
Smells of cherries and lemons, with a yeasty overtone.
Tastes of cherry lemonade, the type found at fairs and carnivals, only with a slight malty sweetness at the finish. Sweet and sour, blending perfectly.
This feels more like a summer beer, with it's refreshing taste and light mouth presence. But I would drink this anytime of year. this is my first experience with a Flanders red, but if they are all this good, it won't be my last.
Won a Gold medal at the California State Fair.
