Point Abracadabra from notes. Poured into a shaker, the beer is gold with just a hint of chill haze. It has a pretty impressive fluffy white head that leaves nice lacing.

Nose is apricots, some floral notes and grains.

The taste mimics the smell. Sweet Apricot, some light flowery hops and crackers. It's not over powering to sweet or artificial. The malts keep everything in balance.

The mouth is crisp with active, almost scouring carbonation.

I like this one for what it is, a kind of quirky change of pace beer.

Picked this up for a couple bucks at Six packs and Dogs. Heard good things so I picked up a bottle.

A - Pours a very clear bright yellow with an impressive 1/2 inch of head that dissipates slowly.
S - Good tart and sweet apricot smells with sweet malts and very mild hops.
T - Tart and fruity somewhat sweet finish with a mild bit of hops.
M - Not as watery as I expected. Light to medium but it has a decent body to remind you its a beer.

Overall a very tasty apricot ale that I may go back for a sixer of. Buy some!

Poured from a 12 ounce bottle into a pint glass. The beer has a nice a smell of apricots and malt. The beer pours a semi-murky yellow color with a small white head. The taste is big on apricot and a hint of malt and hops. Overall, a nice summer brew that I really enjoyed.

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, bottled on 1/8/2015. Pours hazy golden yellow color with a 1-2 finger dense white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings one the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big apricot, peach, lemon, pear, apple, wheat, honey, cracker, light clove, and floral/grassy earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of apricot, citrus/floral hops, and pale malt notes; with good strength. Very bright and authentic fruity notes in the aromas. Taste of apricot, peach, lemon, pear, apple, wheat, honey, cracker, light clove, and floral/grassy earthiness. Slight herbal/spicy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of apricot, peach, lemon, pear, apple, wheat, honey, cracker, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a short bit. Nice complexity and solid robustness of apricot, citrus/floral hops, and pale malt flavors; with a great malt/fruit balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth and fairly creamy/bready mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with zero warming present after the finish as expected of 5%. Overall this is a very good fruited wheat ale. All around good balance and solid robustness of apricot, citrus/floral hops, and pale malt flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. The aromas were more impressive than the flavors. A nicely enjoyable offering.

Pours a soapy, white head. Lovely aroma of apricots! Hazy, straw color. Starts with a sweet fruitiness, with apricot dominating. Malt moves in a bit, with lingering apricot into the finish.

Not a really complex brew, but it's very enjoyable; smooth malt allows the apricot to shine, making for a VERY drinkable, refreshing summer drink.

Sampled last night on 4/18/15. From the Steven's Point Brewery in Stevens Point, Wisconsin, their "APRICADABREA APRICOT WHEAT ALE" doesn't have listed the alcohol content, so I am guessing around 4.5% or so. Bottle chilled down to 36 degrees F in my beer cooler and poured in to a billiard "Striped 13' flute glass.

Brew pours a golden-yellow in color with a good 1+-finger foamy white cap that finally settled down to a few mm after about 5 mins or so. A decent amount of lacing was seen when sipped, which surprised me. The aroma is very pleasant and is of grains with a hint of fresh apricots. The taste is close to following the noise with a well blended mix of flavors. Nothing over powered one another. A new brew from this company and would be even better on a summers day. Crisp and refreshing. Lighter to medium-bodied with good carbonation. Overall, a tasty brew!
