Poured into a goblet: color is opaque amber, light tan head with fine bubbles presents 1/4 inch thick, head dissipates to ring along glass sides.
Smell has the depth of a Quad - big, sweet, raisin, plum, spice, earth, clove, banana, caramel.
Taste is less deep with some booze; flavor notes if raisin, plum, clove, banana, booze, caramel, honey.
Mouthfeel is moderate carbonation, moderate/strong sweetness, moderate bitterness.
Overall a tripel in name but drinks like a quad with the malt depth.

Served on tap in a snifter
Appearance - The beer is served a deep golden amber color with a small head. The head fades fast leaving light lace on sides of glass.
Smell - The aroma is heaviest of a cracker malt mixed with aromas of orange and a light banana. There is some light spice of coriander and clove along with a touch of yeast and candied sugar.
Taste - Taste starts with a lightly toasted cracker malt and sweetness of banana, orange, and candied sugar. Light yeast and some coriander and clove are there as well, along with some peach and light dough. The yeast and spice get a bit stronger throughout, leaving one with a rather clean, but sweet triple taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel - The body is medium in thickness with a moderate carbonation level. For the style the feel is good making for an easy sipper.
Overall - A nice drinker overall. Would certainly do again.

i think its awesome some of their house beers at yard house are actually done by a belgian brewery. i have not had nearly enough from these guys, but was excited to learn that is who was making these house brews for them. this is quite good, although the amber aspect makes this somewhat sweeter and heavier than i generally prefer in a tripel, but the yeast is nice and the beer is well executed overall, definitely scratched my itch for something strong a belgian and kind of regal. medium deep amber color with some cloudiness and a short just off white head resting on top with good retention. it smells quite sweet, with notes of dark candy sugar and maple syrup beneath the belgian yeast, which is identifiable but not overly estery to me, slightly white pepper and clove spiciness, a hint of gum or taffy too, pineapple candy, but clean enough. the flavor is about the same, a little more malt weight and residual sugar than i want, but the complexity is there, more autumnal like this than high summer, but good flavors and a somewhat restrained fermentation profile for the style. the alcohol is also really well hidden, this feels big from its body not from its heat. decent carbonation and a soft, almost cask feel, maybe a little old, but not in a bad way. neat beer overall, exciting that it even exists, and it has me eager to go back for the other house brews made at silly!

Tasted at the Yard House Las Vegas - Town Square in Jan 2019. I love Belgian styles and was excited to try this one based on the description, but I found it mildly disappointing in every category except appearance. I was surprised to read that it is brewed by Brasserie de Silly, many of whose beers I have enjoyed in the past.

Cloudy golden yellow with white creamy top. Aromatic bubblegum and yeast. Taste of spice drop candies, touch of honey and mild yeast. Maybe a tad sweet for my liking. Feel leans toward the heavier side. Aromatics linger in the olafactories. Candy sweetness coats the mouth. Overall a sipper and I would have again.

This beer is overly sweet and syrupy to me. Appearance is ok. The aroma is subdued to the point of almost not being there. It's a long way from any tripel I've had, usually one of my favorite styles, but not this time.
