Let's just say that the only ale with apricots that I am familiar with is No.9. I relish the opportunity to try something hopefully better.
Pours a cloudy blond with a one-finger head.
Lots of apricot in the nose. Its not extract! 200lbs of apricots went into this baby!
Whoa! A decent apricot punch greets the taste buds followed by a hint of sweet malt. Not too sweet.
Lingering apricot notes remind you that this ale is no spring chicken.
Who needs No.9? This is so much better and closer in spirit to the original.

On tap poured into a sampler.
pours a light hazy amber with a small white head. Nose is light and fruity, almost some cinnamon and sweet apricot.
Taste is a bit tart, quite smooth and rich with a light bitterness on the finish. The fruit really makes it quite mouth watering. Quite well balanced and easy drinking for a fruit beer.
