On tap.
The appearance was a semi-murky to pale sort of yellow color with a film of a white foamy head that quickly died off. No lace.
The aroma had a nice blend of sweet watermelon to grassy to floral sort of mesh presenting a light semi-sweet wheat sort of maltiness underneath.
The flavor was mainly sweet flowing into those grassy notes to try and control the sweetness in a sly bitter sort of fashion yet maintaining a fair sort of balance. Aftertaste was the watermelon.
The mouthfeel was between light and medium bodied with a great sessionability about it. Carbonation was low but felt good. Pretty smooth and quaint. ABV felt appropriate.
Overall, fans of fruit beers, well, I think you'd like this one, after dissecting it, I'd say it's substantial enough to come back to.

Poured on-tap at the brewpub and served in a tumbler pint, the beer is a pale, yellow-gold coloring with no head. Watery aroma, on the weak side, with hints of watermelon sweetness. Limp bodied, with a toasted grain backbone. Watermelon flavors abound, with a sweetness that goes unbalanced. Yeasty, toasted grain aftertaste, with minimal traces of watermelon character left. Slick, slightly limp finish. Not excited about this one.
