July 27th, 2015 - Second beer in a taster today is the Saison Blonde. It's also delicately colored with a light, straw color, and features a sweeter scent. Pear and white grape appear on the bouquet, but it's gentle, and shy. The flavor is nice, and starts crisp with a light, sweet floral front which blossoms through to the end of the aftertaste. Like mountain flowers, it's a soft taste but pairs well with the thinner, gossamer body.

On-tap at Russian River Brewing Company, Santa Rosa, CA
A: The beer is hazy yellow in color and has no visible carbonation. It poured with a half finger high white head.
S: Moderate aromas of Belgian yeast are present in the nose along with hints of grainy malts.
T: The taste follows the smell and also has some flavors of soapy dishwater.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation. No dryness is perceptible.
O: This saison seems like it could use more in the way of dryness in the mouthfeel and spicy yeast in the taste.
Serving type: on-tap
