Banana, pear, lemon rind, brett funk, doughy bread, piney/floral hop.

 

Poured into a tulip. A slightly hazy golden color with a modest white head. Spicy aroma with black pepper, lemongrass, dough, and Belgian esters. The peppery notes were there on the palate, punctuating a mix of flavors ranging from bread to lemongrass to plastic from the Brett. A nice clean dry finish with some citrus tartness. I’m clearly biased but this is a great representation of the style.

 

 

 

Wowie... Y’all gonna do Russian River like that? These low reviews? Well, I guess first things first: when Raul sip, he ain’t feelin’ like he done wanna slap his mama - it ain’t dat good. Still, like a twirl with Lady Gaga, it ain’t all that bad. Now, this beer definitely isn’t freaky like Gaga - it don’t sneak up on you and scream, “Boo!” It’s pretty much just down the line, right good. Just straight down the line like Tom Brady’s breakfast order (all kinds of ordinary and shit).
