Can pour - medium gold/orange with thick white head. Nose has hints of citrus and pine with some sweet malt. Taste follows more or less. Reminds me if the 1st time I drank SNPA all those years ago.

Had at the brewery in Santa Rosa. On the maltier, mellow side, which is a nice change of pace from all the hoppy versions. Easy drinking and pairs well with their food options.

Canned 21 MAR 2022.
Definitely a walk back in time. Citrus meets pine notes. Mellow malt. More typical of many offerings back in the day that weren't quite as chewy as SNPA but featuring a similar hop profile. This is on the lighter side of medium mouthfeel but quite nice nonetheless.

Thanks, Trey!
A clear golden orange with a large, white head with excellent retention and lacing. The nose is excellent, a clean no-nonsense pale ale that seems simple at first blush but is actually really well-balanced and done. Soft, creamy bitterness leaning more on the citrus rind with pine playing second fiddle. An undercurrent of malt is present, clean and softly bready, complementing the pine hops. The palate opens clean, bitter, mildly resiny with grapefruit zest, a little candied orange followed by a clean biscuit like malt character, mildly bready and toasty with a sweetness that complements the hops really well. Soft, creamy, mildly bitter finish with a mild sweetness. Quite excellent.

Poured from a can with nice artwork from an anniversary four pack. A medallion shade of yellow body with a finger high lingering white head and lacing. A nose of yeast funk and hops with a taste of...well, that leaves a bit of a void, grapefruit rind and slight bitterness. Goes down smooth.

It’s refreshing, but a bit too bitter for a hearty swig.

16oz can at share. Golden pour with a thin white head. Aroma and taste are a throwback to the early days, malt forward with a light hop profile. Creamy feel. It's like drinking history.
