Our brand new citrus IPA is exploding with bright citrus aroma and flavor. Creating an exciting new variation on our flagship Loose Cannon, TropiCannon clocks in at the same 7.25%ABV as its cousin, but packs a full blast of blood orange, grapefruit, mango and lemon flavor. We've downplayed some of Loose Cannon's piney-ness and amped up the citrus by swapping Centennial and Palisade hops for Amarillo and even more Simcoe. We've introduced dried grapefruit, orange and lemon peel in the brewing process and added mango, blood orange and more grapefruit post-fermentation.

Looks slightly hazy and smells like candied stone fruits. Taste is very bad. Nothing like the nose, no taste of fruit, just an dirty, drying taste. Will never drink again, even if it is free. A total turnoff to the other Heavy Seas Brewery beers

Dirty gold, pretty thick haze. Massive juicy orange nose. Becomes more juice than beer on the palate, but still delivers lots of flavor—particularly blood orange. Finishes dry; somewhat filling. Ultimately, leans too heavily on adjunct fruit; not enough hop character.

Arghhh High Seas...this is not almost, but completely undrinkable. Look: fine, slight haze, decent head. Smell: same smell when I walk into a sort of clean truck stop bathroom with fresh orange toilet cakes placed into the urinals. Taste: See "Smell" above (even though I did not actually taste said toilet cakes, I am pretty sure this beer is what they taste like). Feel: Too carbonated so big bite on the tongue which ruins any kind of mellow IPA bitterness that might even have a chance of rescuing this abomination. This is a sub-mediocre IPA with some sort of nasty juice squirted into it. Ima go pour the 6oz. left down the drain followed by the 5 cans left. Oh well...I still have a Jai Alai in the fridge somewhere.

This smells and tastes like how you'd imagine a fermented mango would. Are there hops in this? If so, they're completely obscured by the fruit. Is there barley in this? Same problem. After getting slammed by mango on the initial interaction with the mouth, the aftertaste exposes hints of very bitter grapefruit that lingers for a considerable time.
I can only handle one of these.

Copenhagen 18/10 2021. 35,5 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Orange can with a lot of Citrus fruit on the can. Some look more like blood orange than citrus.
Pours slightly unclear golden amber with a mid-sized white head. Settles as thin, patchy layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is intense with a candy-like sweetness mingling with citric fruitiness. Sweet wine gums, white sugar, oranges and a bit of harsh grapefruit.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, slightly greasy, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a harsh bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and rough around the edges. Lingers for a while. Finish is bitter.
True to its name it is loaded with citrus fruit but it also have an unpleasant artificial vibe.

Wow what a disappointment. Overbearingly, fruity and citrusy way too much. Might have been balanced if it had some hops in it. Hops are zero.. so clearly all the fruits kill the hops if they put any in there.

12 oz bottle from Food Lion in Short Pump, VA the ale poured a hazy amber with a white foamy head and lacing. Very citrus aroma of oranges, and grapefruit. The taste is more like the aroma. Some hop bitterness in the upper mouth. The ale has a medium body and average carbonation. This is a citrus bomb.

Appearance: Poured into a room temperature pint glass from a 12-ounce bottle three months prior to the "best by" date. The bottle hand hand-drawn art of citrus and hops on the orange label. The beer was a deep and dark yet clear golden color with a slight reddish tinge. There was 3 centimeters of dirty white foam that went away almost immediately.
Aroma: Strong and full of dried mango and apricot.
Taste: Same as the nose plus sweetened pink grapefruit and hoppy bitterness. There was a little bit of a sugary aftertaste. The flavor is very singular and shockingly sweet, even with the bitterness offset.
Feel: Fairly high carbonation with a medium mouthfeel.
Overall: More depth in flavor would have been appreciated. This might have been billed better as an apricot or mango beer.

Do not normally like fruity beer but this is good- boozy and crisp. Not sweet at all.
