Sampled on location is the bustling town of Lucan MN. Strawberry Wheat poured a slightly haze off yellow color. The head retention was good as was the lacing. Both did not last throughout the whole tasting but did stick around.
The smell had some lighter malt and sweetness to it. The smell was a nice strawberry and peach fragrance. Some limited wheat aromas but still detectable.
The taste had a good wheat smooth taste to it. A nice malt with lighter flavors and a good mix of sweeter fruity taste. Not specifically a strawberry flavor but a definite berry flavor is detectable. The fruit taste is mixed well with the malt. A good wheat flavor is noticeable as well. No real hop taste but there is somewhat of a lighter zip that brings a sweetness quality and heightens the fruit flavor.
The body is light to medium and the carbonation is high. Overall itÂ’s a good beer. Hints at fruit and malt but well balanced and easy to drink.
