Big Style is brewed with brown sugar and molasses. This stout is full of sweet aromas and hints of toffee and dark fruit flavors. These flavors give way to a roasty bitter aftertaste that’s relatively clean.

Appearance: mahogany. Almost black but brown around the edges. Opaque. Tannish head that leaves a small lacing behind
Smell: roasted malts and chocolate. Hints of molasses and other sugars
Taste: opens up with just a bit of a complex molasses and brown sugar sweetness. Quickly gives way to a big roasted coffee/ chocolate taste. I expected it to be a lot sweeter
Mouthfeel: fairly significant feel. Stickiness. No alcohol or warmth.
Overall: this beer left me wanting a bit more. I like the idea of molasses and brown sugar along with big dark malts but they were more of a hint rather than big bold flavors. Still fairly tasty
