Shortsicle is a Tart Ale brewed with strawberry, pineapple, and lactose. With a smooth texture from the lactose and oats, there is a light tartness that blends with the fruit and malt. Orange in color and bursting with tart pineapple and sweet strawberry aromas, this beer is reminiscent of a tart, fruity, summer treat.

My first experience with a sour as they are not easy to come by in my area. The smell of the beer is really comparable to Orange juice but with notes of hops. As soon as it hit my tongue I was quite surprised at how tart it really was, although pleasant. I didn't get too much cream flavor or feeling out of this one. It was a good experience but I probably won't be grabbing this one again.

Quite a bit different from the original nitro cream ale version. Pour is almost the same orange color as the popsicle on the label. Decent fruity aromas with just enough sour funk to let you knwo what you're in for. Flavor is very nice, more tart than sour, which mixes well with the puckery pineapple and strawberry. Enough lactose presence to mellow it out a little.
