Pure Michigan Autumn IPA is an India Pale Ale made with all Michigan ingredients. We’ve partnered with three Michigan maltsters (Empire Malting Co., Great Lakes Malting Company, and Valley View Farms), two Michigan hop farms (MI Local Hops and Michigan Hop Alliance), and Craft Cultures from the UP to craft this purely Michigan beer. Straw-colored and slightly hazy, this beer leads with slightly sweet, fruity, and malty flavors that are immediately followed with a pleasant hoppiness that finishes dry.

Copper colored with a fingernail of dishwater white on top. The aroma is of mandarin oranges. I’m tasting peach and orange and it comes off as a bit artificial. The mouth is lightly resinous and dry.

I got a 6pck of cans of this beer from my local meijer store. It poured a hazy orangish with white head that is leaving some nice lace. The scent had subtle bitter hop notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with bright crisp malt and subtle bitter pine resin flare. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a good beer.

LOOK: opaque amber/light beige tinge with quickly-dissipating foam and coarse lacing.
SMELL: citrus acidity, small amount of pine.
TASTE: more citrus, hops, very slight metallic aftertaste
FEEL: thin-bodied for an IPA, somewhat watery but not offensive
OVERALL: Seems like a session IPA, honestly. Not stellar but far from terrible.

12 fl. oz can
Served in a perfect pint glass
This beer pours a dirty yellow color and is hazy. It is topped with a couple inches of beige head that leaves spotty lacing.
Light citrus and pine aroma. Biscuit malt backbone
Citrus flavors upfront. Pine in the finish
Kinda thin bodied with a biting mouthfeel
Not bad. Tastes like a session IPA. Kind of watered down

Canned 8/12/22; drank 9/23/22 @ the Yarchives.
Cloudy pale orange appearance.
A rough pour yielded a big white head; strong, frothy tree-rung lace.
Grapefruit, table sugar, lemon & mild black tea notes in the nose.
Medium mouthfeel.
Lemon, pine, table sugar & mild baking soda flavors.
A bit abrasive, and not one I'll return to.

Thanks @Whyteboar for this gem.
Pours a slightly hazy swirl of gold before it clears up. Fluffy white head rises 2 fingers and recedes. Slight lacing, decent retention. Nose is a nice balance between malts and hops. Bready malt, mild orange, slight peppery spice.
Flavor follows the nose, but adds more citrus notes into the blend. Floral lemon, and tangerine move towards grass, and hints of honey.
Mouthfeel is on the light side of medium, light carbonation, gentle bitterness.
Overall, a fine IPA.
