2024 Citra Local's Variety Pack - 12 pack
12 oz. can dated 080124 (8/1/24) - 7.9% ABV / 10 IBU
Brewed and canned in Elk Rapids, MI
Poured into a Bell's branded nonic pint glass
Look - Pours a dense and fizzy off-white head that leaves lacing. Clear, yellow appearance with a small amount of streaming bubbles.
Smell - Aromas of boozy malt and grassy hops. Reminiscent of a malt liquor.
Taste - The taste follows the nose with no bitterness.
Feel - Medium bodied with a crisp mouthfeel and finishes with minimal dryness. The high alcohol burns the throat.
Overall - This is basically a high quality malt liquor, and it's fantastic. Very nostalgic and drinkable, despite the high ABV.

Finally, after a year of breweries taking flagship IPAs and churning out lo-cal versions, we get a light lager turned Imperial. Local's Heavy bellies its way up to the bar and gives you a good, sweet, malt smack with just enough herbal/grassy hops to make a clean finish.
