Agave Peach Wheat is brewed with an English ale yeast and looks quite traditional with its faint orange color and acceptable amounts of haze. Brewed with blue agave nectar and real peaches, the initial flavor is sweet before the unique qualities of the blue agave become apparent. Similar to tequila that is typically made from this plant, the beer leaves an impressionable impact of pronounced earthy flavors. The finish is light and fresh.

ON TAP at shorts pub.. bellaire.
A: Pours a copper color thats hazy
S: Smells like syrup mixed with peaches, can pick up the alcohol also
T: A mild peach taste that comes right away, then bitter on the finish.. not hoppy bitter though, very manageable.
M: Sturdy mouthfeel with the hint of peach
O: A great brew once again, must try if at the pub. The aftertaste could be better, but overall very nicely done

Poured into a tumbler at ChurchKey DC on tap.
No head presented, very cloudy orange/brown and manages to keep a small collar. It looks like something out of a cask minus the body color which is quite nice.
A sour wetness is the first thing that come to my mind when smelling this. Muted fruit of peach and a very good sense of chewy grain.
Taste is prickly first and tolerable with fun carbonation on the body. It's the first thing I notice. The first thing that jumps out at me though isn't peach, it's mango, then some peaches. Very nice mild wheat bread on the finish, with a slight slick coating mouthfeel. The finish also has an herbal tea quality to with a hop bent.
Overall pretty solid all around and a fun beer.

On draft at Churchkey in D.C.
The beer is light orange hued, with a thin, but lasting head that leaves a fair amount of lacing on the snifter. The aroma brings peach and agave - surprise! I really enjoyed the flavor of this beer. Nice and light with crisp carbonation. Interesting and intriguing flavor, yet drinkable (not a guarantee from Short's). The wheat comes through nicely, making this an appropriate choice for the hot season (I really enjoy wheat beers in warm weather). The body is a bit on the thin side. Overall, a decent brew. I would have it again.

Another oddity on draft at Churchkey during the Short's takeover event.
Beer is yellow / amber and hazy with a wispy head of small white bubbles and some lacing on the glass. Retention low as well as carbonation.
Aroma is really sweet with peaches and some agave. Mild graininess, kind of smells like a hefeweizen made with peaches.
Beer is nice, but has a harsh finish and an unfortunate aftertaste. The finish is drier than it should be with a harsh grainy aftertaste. The front half of the beer is nice and sweet with agave and peaches. Those flavors complement each other well.

Draft at the Great Taste. Poured a slightly hazy golden copper color with a tannish white head. Sweet aroma of fruit in the nose along with some wheat type aromas in the background. You really can pick out and taste both the peach and the agave in the taste. Sweet pretty much throughout the entire drink but still pretty smooth. A great beer for a hot day. Medium mouthfeel. Might be a little too sweet to drink several.

Picked up a growler at Short's. It is a copper orange color, light-bodied and fizzy. Smell is sour canned fruit and syrupy peaches. Taste is peach up front with some mango, fading into a hoppier crisp and bitter finish. Excellent drinkability and a great cold summer beer.
