On tap at the brewpub during vacation.
A: Cloudy orange color. A finger of off white head appears, fades to. Thin rim and leaves some spotty lace.
A: notes of citrus, spice, and Belgian yeast. Some notes of coriander, black pepper, and orange peel.
T: The balance of spice with the citrus is very nice. Notes of honey, orange, and tangerine. Black pepper and other spices give this a bite, but the sweetness from the Belgian yeast balances it well.
M: On the lighter side of medium. Good carbonation combined with the spice make it a touch sharp.
O: For all the experimenting short's does, it is nice to get a traditional take on a style. I wish they would put this in 750's. Skal.
